We are WAMP, a young, ambitious start-up in the golf world with a clear mission: to turn golf into a team sport. Together with Thomas Pieters and Harold Varner, both players for LIV Golf, we have built an app that enables brands, organizations, online communities, golf pros, and clubs to engage, activate, and monetize their community through fun and creative challenges.
The WAMP team is lean and mean but with a wealth of experience. The team includes an experienced CTO and a two-headed leadership team overseeing product strategy and business development. Additionally, we have a host of experienced advisors and investors linked to WAMP, providing a wealth of contacts and experience in the golf world.
We are looking for an experienced, ambitious talent with a passion for golf and a desire to bring a breath of fresh air to the golf world. Candidates possessing a strong social media skill set and comprehension are exceptionally well-matched.
What do we expect from you?
We don’t think in defined roles, so in any case, you will have a voice and impact on all aspects of WAMP. However, you would primarily be responsible for business development. This entails:
- Reaching out to and contacting brands, organizations, online communities, golf pros,
- Developing concrete proposals for prospects based on their needs.
- Capturing insights and learnings based on prospect feedback and conveying them to the product team.

Where would you work?
The current team primarily works virtually from Antwerp, Eindhoven, and London. So, for the most part, you would work remotely. On a monthly basis, we organize strategic sessions with the broader team (core team + external advisors), and we aim to do these in person.
What is the commitment?
The number of days per week can be discussed based on availability, but we are looking for a minimum commitment of 3 days per week. There is also the opportunity to play a larger, more significant role within WAMP over time if both sides feel the match is right. Anything is possible! We have grand ambitions and are open to new and ambitious talent to help drive the initiative forward.
Where does WAMP stand today as a product and business?
WAMP started a few years ago as a free-to-play app that allows golfers to play matchplay and keep scores. However, in the summer of 2023, WAMP secured funding to take the product in a new direction and focus more on B2B. The new app, with a Challenge Configurator and a token system, is largely built and is currently in the testing phase with around 15 partners. The next step is to further validate the product and then market it to initial customers.
What is the compensation?
Monthly compensation to be discussed based on the number of days of commitment, as well as your background and existing experience.
